Sarcee Dental Office wanted a space that felt inviting and elevated—not clinical. Our design approach drew from Scandinavian aesthetics to create a clean, functional, and warm environment for patients and staff alike.
Dental offices often feel sterile and impersonal. Our challenge was to reimagine this space as one that could be both professional and emotionally comforting, without sacrificing functionality or flow.
We leaned into the Scandinavian ethos: simplicity, natural beauty, and a deep connection to light and nature. The concept balanced architectural restraint with meaningful detail to foster a sense of ease and openness.
Simplicity & Linear Design: Clean lines and natural materials brought visual clarity and a sense of order.
Connection to Nature: Large-format nature photography acted like windows, while glossy finishes reflected light like snow and water.
Warmth Through Volume: Vaulted ceilings, soft wood tones, and iconic Herman Miller lighting invited calm and openness.
Balanced Restraint: Rather than filling the space with decor, we used lighting and glazing as subtle design statements.
Thoughtful Staff Spaces: The staff room was designed to feel just as considered—playful, practical, and a welcome retreat.
The final space is a reflection of Scandinavian values—minimal yet rich in experience. Patients feel at ease, and the staff have a cohesive, calming workplace. The Sarcee Dental Office now functions as both a clinic and a design-forward sanctuary.
